Job Description

The Financial Analyst will serve as a key member of the FSG Finance team, supporting budgeting, forecasting, debt compliance monitoring, and financial initiatives across FSG’s global sports and entertainment portfolio. This new role will provide foundational support to established workstreams, while also having the ability to create and influence new areas of work as FSG grows and evolves. The Financial Analyst will primarily work under the FP&A, Debt Capital Markets and Treasury side of the department, but there likely will be opportunities to work directly with the Controller’s side of the department, as well. The FSG Finance team, and this role in particular, creates communication materials for FSG partners, external capital providers such as bankers, and others on a regular and ad‑hoc basis, meaningfully contributing to critical areas of the ongoing and expanding FSG business. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical and detail-oriented financial professional with experience in financial modeling and scenario analysis. This role offers exposure to high-impact corporate finance initiatives, including long-term planning, debt financing, and ad‑hoc strategic projects that contribute to critical financial decisions across the FSG platform. This role is designed for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and who is eager to deepen their analytical expertise and contribute beyond their stated responsibilities. The base salary range for this position is $85,000-$95,000 based on relevant experience. Additionally, this position qualifies for annual incentive pay along with our comprehensive benefits package.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare source documents and draft communication materials for quarterly partner meeting presentations, biannual long-range plans, and monthly financial update presentations for principals from a budgeting and forecasting perspective. Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting for the FSG holding companies, including analysis and presentation deliverables. Prepare regular cash flow forecasts and draft weekly loan notice requests to enable efficient debt management, inclusive of borrowing level recommendations. Support debt financing activity across the FSG platform, including building, re‑tooling and updating complex scenario models. Monitor debt covenant compliance results for holding company and property-level debt, and communicate results to internal stakeholders regularly. Participate in generating recurring internal materials (Monthly FSG Debt Summary, Budget vs. Actual holding company expense variance, etc.). Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and insights to support decision-making. Contribute to advancement of department and company initiatives, including budget and forecast tools, process improvements, and reporting enhancements, including consolidation software implementation and various technology and AI enhancements. Create new, innovative ways to complete work, analyze financial information and generate insights. Assist with various special projects and ad-hoc requests across the FSG Finance department.

CHARACTERISTICS / QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. 1 – 3 years of relevant experience in an analytical financial role (Corporate Finance, FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Investment Banking). Strong technical skills, including experience with various AI tools to improve productivity and financial analysis. Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with other Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Highly analytical and intellectually curious, with a strong ability to extract insights from financial data. Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. Ability to create a high-quality work product in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines. Exceptional communication skills (oral and written), and an ability to present financial data clearly to non‑finance stakeholders. Collaborative team player, initiative‑taking and reliable. At the Boston Red Sox we go beyond embracing diversity. We’re committed to living by our values, strengthening our community, and creating a workplace where people genuinely feel like they belong. Prospective employees will receive consideration without discrimination based on race, religious creed, color, sex, age, national origin, handicap, disability, military/veteran status, ancestry, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression or protected genetic information. #J-18808-Ljbffr Austin Community College
